Satire
Episode 1 of Meet The Bads introduces Aasman Singh (Lakshya Lalwani), an ambitious outsider who finds some success with his debut film—enough to give him a little spotlight, but also a taste of the glitz and struggle of Bollywood. His attempts to build connections with friends, rivals, and industry insiders lead him to an actor's roundtable where nepotism, fame, and expectations are clearly visible.
- The title of Episode 2 is Movie Mafia.
- The episode's focus shifts to Bollywood's power players and the "mafia"-like networks that produce, distribute, and decide people's careers. Politics, contracts, influence, and star-versus-outsider conflicts are clearly visible here.
In this episode, the title itself says it all: "Bullshit Party" - glamour, PR fake-smiles, and public relations games at their highest level. Asmaan and his friends are elated that Parvaiz has negotiated a new deal with Freddy.
Episode 5 is a showdown, brother—Aasman is forced to meet a dangerous don, Gafoor Ismail. Parvaiz's marriage deal leads to the video that Jaraj wants to use against Freddy. This means betrayal and scandal are aplenty. Asman's career and image are all at stake. (Writing: Aryan Khan, Bilal Siddiqui, Manav Chauhan)
Episode 6 The Filmfirst Awards is a milestone in the series – where plot betrayals, image politics and emotional stakes are at full speed. If Episode 5 set up the scandal and moral questions, this episode sharpens them a bit.
