Brothers and sisters, tie your seat belts, grab some popcorn, and tag your friends, because today we are going to do a dhamakedaar, masaledaar, and a dhum paisa vasool review of the most awaited Telugu action spy thriller of the year—G2 (Goodachari 2)!

Arre, this is not a normal film, it is a full-on international level spy dhamaka, which has action, emotion, drama, and a little desi swag too. So let’s start this review in perfect Hinglish, which has a touch of common sense, humour, and entertainment!

The father of Spy Thriller is back!

First of all, let me make one thing clear—if you felt that you have seen everything in the first Goodachari, then forget it. G2 is back, bigger, bigger, and this time the budget is also ₹100 crores! Meaning, the money is double, the action is also double, and the expectations are sky high!

Adivi Sesh is back in the role of his Agent Gopi 116, but this time the honor is not just of RAW, but of the whole country! And yes, Emraan Hashmi has also come as a villain, meaning the level of suspense and thrill is next!

Plot: Desi Spy, Foreign Style

The story begins with an international mission, where Agent Gopi (Adivi Sesh) risks his life for his country. This time the mission is overseas—Europe’s stylish locations, Dubai’s glamour, and India’s desi touch! Meaning, the real Bond meets the Baahubali vibe!

Gopi is facing a new villain—Michael/Prince Vithal (Emraan Hashmi), whose swag is like the Don of London, but his mind is like the real Mirzapur’s Kaleen Bhaiya! And in between is Mahalakshmi (Wamiqa Gabbi), with whom there is romance too, but every time someone or the other is at gunpoint.

The story has RAW, Trinetra, double agents, betrayal, and a plot twist that will make you think—“Bhai, what is this going on?”

Cast: Star Power On Full Display

Adivi Sesh as Agent Gopi 116

Bhai, this guy is a real spy. One minute he is a lover boy, the next minute he is an action hero, the third minute he is an emotional beta. Meaning, SRK’s romance and John Abraham’s body, both in one package!

Emraan Hashmi as Michael/Prince Vithal

Bollywood’s serial kisser has now become a serial killer type villain. You will understand in his entry scene itself—“Now something big is going to happen!”

Wamiqa Gabbi as Mahalakshmi

This time the heroine is not just a glamour doll, she also does action, and also rescues the hero. Meaning, equality level 100!

Supporting Cast

Supriya Yarlagadda, Madhu Shalini, Prakash Raj: RAW agents, mentors, and uncles—all together make a perfect family pack spy team!

Direction & Production: Paisa Vasool Visuals

This is the debut of Director Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, but brother, what a debut! Grand sets, international locations, and a four-floor glass headquarters for Trinetra—after seeing all this, it seems that even Hollywood’s Christopher Nolan must be thinking, “Yaar, how did you do this?”

The budget has been fully utilized—helicopters in action sequences, car chases, and an underwater fight scene that you would want to watch again and again!

Action: Desi Bond, Hollywood Stunts

This film is a treat for action lovers. Gun fights, hand-to-hand combat, and a fight on a train that can even compete with Mission Impossible! Meaning, even Tom Cruise will say, “Bhai, slow down!”

And in one scene Gopi punches the villain of Latak with a chopper-if you see this in the theatre, you will definitely be entertained, maybe some audience will spit popcorn too!

Humour: A Tadka of Laughter in Spy Thriller

Now you must be thinking, this is all a serious spy drama, then humour is a joke? Brother, here the dialogue writers have put full-on Hinglish punchlines!

“Are you an agent of RAW or have you come to eat RAW mango?”

“The villain is from London, but his attitude is from Guntur!”
